Why I Decided to Move My Blog to Google Blogspot

For a long time, I trusted a third-party company to host and manage my blog. Like many bloggers, authors, and content creators, I believed that paying someone to handle the technical side of blogging would help my articles rank better on search engines. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

I spent many hours writing valuable articles based on my banking experience, financial education, debt management, savings strategies, and personal finance. I also shared information about my work as a pawTree PetPro, helping pet owners learn about better nutrition and wellness for their dogs and cats. My goal has always been to create content that educates, inspires, and helps others make informed decisions.

However, despite my efforts, very few of my articles were appearing in search engine results.

It was frustrating.

I continued publishing content and waited patiently, hoping things would improve. I trusted that the SEO services I was paying for would help my articles become visible to readers. Months passed, and I still saw little to no improvement. Many of my articles could not be found on Google, even when searching for topics I had written about.

As a writer, publisher, and business owner, there is nothing more disappointing than creating useful content that nobody can find.

After carefully evaluating the situation, I decided it was time for a change. I chose to move my blog to Google Blogspot.

The reason was simple. Google owns Blogspot, and I noticed that articles published on Blogspot were being indexed and appearing in Google search results much faster. Instead of depending on a third-party company to manage my SEO, I wanted a platform that worked directly with Google's ecosystem.

Since making the switch, I have seen encouraging results. My articles are showing up in Google search results, and they are becoming easier for readers to discover. Whether I am writing about banking, saving money, avoiding debt, financial stewardship, publishing, or pet wellness through pawTree, my content now has a better chance of reaching the people who are searching for it.

While no platform can guarantee top rankings, visibility is an important first step. If people cannot find your content, they cannot benefit from the information you share.

This experience taught me an important lesson. Sometimes the simplest solution is the best one. Expensive services and complicated SEO promises do not always produce the results we expect. What matters most is creating helpful, high-quality content and publishing it on a platform that search engines can easily access and index.

As a finance author, banking professional, journal creator, and pawTree PetPro, my goal is to help people improve their lives. Whether that means sharing financial knowledge, practical money-saving tips, publishing resources, or information about pet health and nutrition, I want my content to serve others in a meaningful way.

Moving to Google Blogspot has given me renewed confidence in my blogging journey. It allows me to focus on what I enjoy most—writing useful content for my readers—without constantly worrying about whether my articles will ever be seen.

If you are struggling with poor visibility on your current blogging platform, it may be worth exploring other options. For me, Google Blogspot has been a positive step forward, and I look forward to continuing to grow my online presence, one article at a time.
